Aloha Angie, thank you for reaching out. Statistically I do not know the odds of two sisters being diagnosed within two months of each other! However with that being said, My sister was not diligent with her well women check ups, and had a lump for about year! Where as I have had a mammogram every year since I was 40, I do Mammograms for a living! Due to my dense breast tissue and the complexity of my tissue it went undetected mammographically! I found the abnormality it the shower, thanks to monthly Breast Self Exams (BSE) I new something felt different. Hence the journey begins.
